What is Off Plan?

How to Buy:

When you have decided on the property you wish to purchase, it will be necessary to make a deposit of 3000 - 7,500 Euros.* you should have this available by credit card or cash (Euros). This deposit will reserve the property for you and will have it removed from the market. This deposit is non refundable and forms part of your deposit for your private purchase agreement, which is due 15 days later.

This is an example of a typical development's payment plan:
3000 Euros reservation fee
40% first payment on Private Purchase Agreement (less reservation fee)
40% at completion of roof structure
20% on completion

An example in real terms:
Purchase price 64,051 Euros
40% on PPC minus 3,000 - 22,620.40 Euros
40% at roof - 25,620.40 Euros
20% on completion - 12,810.20 Euros

Immediately after your return to your home you will contacted by our Portuguese legal advisory service. They will offer to appoint an English speaking lawyer for you and act as an interface between you and your lawyer, throughout your purchase they will ensure that you are kept fully aware of when all payments are due and help you with any questions concerning your purchase.
